The Dimplex Optiflame Freeport Chrome Inset Fire is available in a polished cast iron finish with stainless steel effect canopy. Featuring Dimplex's unique Optiflame®effect, this inset fire is supplied with coal and white pebbles and has a near silent operation of the flame effect. This fire has low running cost LED lighting and comes with 2kW fan heater with 1kW and 2kW heat settings and thermostat. This fire can be used flat-to-wall with 60mm spacer provided and inset depth of just 55mm without spacer.The fully 3-dimensional effect uses established ultrasonic technology to create an ultra-fine water mist As the mist rises up through the logs or coals, the light reflects against the water creating a convincing illusion of flames and smoke. The result is an appearance so authentic it will be mistaken for true flames and smoke. The Delius DLS20 is designed to fit 16" and 18" fireplaces and all conventional flues.
